The Starbucks Supervisor is responsible for assisting the manager in monitoring the day-to-day activities of team members, monitoring productivity, assigning responsibility for specified work and/or functional activities within the framework set by management, giving work directions, and monitoring scheduling for adequate shift coverage. This position also maintains knowledge of and monitors compliance with all standards and, through leadership and example, encourages the highest level of sales and customer service performance by all team members. This position also will assist with other responsibilities as directed by the Manager.


  • Supervise the store in all aspects that adds quality, value and enhances the guests experience.
  • Drive Sales by leveraging business acumen, efficiencies and problem solving.
  • Utilize and/or create financial reporting tools to properly measures efficiency and financial success.
  • Responsible for maintaining specifications and quality of all products.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean environment for the guests.
  • Control food and labor cost percentages to maximize profits.
  • Responsible for quality, consistency, and presentation of all products in the store.
  • Assist the manager with operational enhancements that support initiatives and promote excellence.
  • Creates efficient work schedules to maintain good labor cost.
  • Listens to guest feedback on offerings and suggested changes and enhancements regarding both product and services offered.
  • Accountable for store inventory to ensure inventory levels are cost effective.
  • Manages and assist the day-to-day activities of the store.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Conducts personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
  • Ensures prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Stays abreast of the current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicates pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports and team members as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Requires 2 years of retail/ customer service management experience.
  • Minimum High School Diploma/ or GED
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.


  • Must be familiar with a variety of the field concepts, practices and procedures and have a proven track record in business management, purchasing and record keeping.
  • Entrepreneurial mentality with experience sales focused environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach team members with professional maturity.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to sustain positive work environment with a diversified talent are required.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills specific to position responsibilities and be able to balance cash drawer at end of shift.
  • Must be able to work full time including variable hours based on business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.



  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
