Overview

The Starbucks Lead Barista is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by providing prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintain a clean and comfortable environment. The Starbucks Barista adheres to Starbuck’s guiding Principles as well as Hard Rocks Amplified Service Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate guest and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and guest cues.
  • Serve as lead as needed for guest and team member situations.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume periods.
  • Provide quality beverages and food products consistently to all guests by adhering to all recipes and presentation standards.
  • Deliver legendary customer service to all guest by acting with the guest always comes first attitude and connecting with the guest.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean environment for the guests.
  • Follow all Cash handling policies as outline in the Cash handling Policy and Procedures.
  • Responsible for quality, consistency, and presentation of all products in the store.
  • Ensures prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Minimum High School Diploma/or GED education.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
  • Some supervisory experience helpful.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Follow all Hard Rock Policy and Procedures.
  • Maintain Regular and Punctual attendance.
  • Available to work any shift.
  • Perform different task throughout the shift as directed by supervisor/ Manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
