Overview

Under the supervision of the Distribution Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the processing, storage, and distribution of all goods and items received to their assigned locations.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, counts, stores, and delivers all materials to assigned locations
  • Ensure all goods are received accurately for quantity, quality, specifications, and damaged free identified on Purchase Order
  • Expedites delivery of goods to operating departments.
  • Rotate of all perishable stock (FIFO) First In First Out to maintain integrity of product
  • Maintain a constant check on all temperatures of freezers and chill boxes in assigned area
  • Assists in inventories of assigned areas
  • Promotes positive guest and team member relations at all times.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma and six (6) months of warehouse receiving experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education required.

Additional Requirement:

  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Must be able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, reach lifts, and other equipment used in warehouse operations.
  • Must be able to follow safety rules and procedures as indicated by warehouse management.
  • Must possess knowledge of MS Office software such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must have a valid New Jersey driver's license.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence to outlets, Purchasing and Warehouse Management.
  • Stratten Warren Inventory/Purchasing System preferred but not required

 

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
