Overview

Under the direction of the Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager, the incumbent will assist with the preparation of financial statements. 

Responsibilities

Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and departmental policies and procedures.

  • Prepares journal entries to General Ledger.
  • Prepares bank reconciliations.
  • Prepares detailed account analysis.
  • Analyzes fluctuations in departmental results and variances from budgets.
  • Assists Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager with maintenance of General Ledger system and reports.
  • Assists Financial Accounting & Reproting Manager with maintenance of Fixed Asset accounting system.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required, as well as one (1) to three (3) years of similar accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Knowledge of hotel casino operations preferred. Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Must possess excellent time management skills.
