The HR Generalist will administer programs to effectively influence and support the strategic direction for the property.  They will work in partnership with property leaders to implement high impact practices and programs designed to maximize performance and results via a consistent and meaningful employee experience.


  • Functions as an internal consultant to assist management in identifying and resolving employee issues, examining and identifying organizational problems, and engaging and communicating with all levels of the organization. 
  • Provides training, education and counseling to the workforce on HR practices, policies and guidelines including programs such as new hire orientation, performance management programs, and other critical HR topics.
  • Review analysis of Human Resources data such as Exit Interviews, Climate Surveys, Employee Opinion Surveys, as well as develop and propose improvements to policies, programs and procedures. 
  • Research and gather data to respond to federal, state and local agencies (EEOC, DOL, Unemployment).
  • Participate in the coordination of employee feedback surveys for the purpose of identifying strengths and opportunities. Help departments and supervisors to evaluate and analyze data providing recommendations and follow up support.
  • Assist departments with developing on the job training programs and materials. Certify and develop department trainers to ensure effective onboarding.
  • Responsible for conducting, monitoring and tracking of performance management efforts.



We are looking for a seasoned HR professional who can work independently and can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. This individual must be a creative, high energy, hands on professional who can successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment.  Additional characteristics include:


  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of human resources generalist and/or employee relations experience required.
  • SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, entertainment or other service business is preferred.
  • Experience providing exceptional customer service internally and externally.
  • Demonstrates an upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Ability to guide employees to proper resources whenever help is needed.
  • Able to develop creative solutions to challenging problems.
  • Shows genuine interest in employee progress.
  • Excels in training, leading and motivating people.
  • Keeps fully alert to the weaknesses, strengths and opportunities facing the organization.
  • Proven ability to develop programs to improve the effectiveness and overall operation of the organization.
  • Effectively formulates strategies, tactics and action plans to achieve results.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and willing to be on call during weekends, holidays, special events, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
