Overview

The incumbent in this position is responsible for being the ultimate guide through the guests’ ROCKSTOP Gas & Wash experience. ROCKSTOP is a unique part of our business, which requires a special person to create the experience. The incumbent is responsible for following all standards and procedures of the ROCKSTOP.

Responsibilities

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make ROCKSTOP their choice for their gas station, car wash, and convenience store needs; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations by providing superior guest service.  Exudes Hard Rock Mottos to create excellent first and last impression for all guests. 
  • Provides an amplified guest service environment by focusing on the needs of internal and external guests.   
  • Resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers, Supervisors and Managers.
  • Operate IT System’s (Agilysis) POS, Bally CMP, and other software as required.
  • Brews and maintains fresh supply of many varieties of coffee, tea, or other drinks.
  •  Keeps coffee supply and other supply areas fully stocked and clean.
  •  Stocks supplies and products on a daily basis and participates in the monthly inventory of the store.
  •  Assist guests as needed in locating items, setting and adjusting prices, and keeping convenience store stocked according to standards.
  •  Accurately maintains and appropriately handles all tender at cashier point of sale.
  •  Proactively welcomes and greets arriving and departing guests, always using the 10/5 rule.
  •  Attends to needs of all guests within ROCKSTOP in an efficient manner, and specifically follows all established safety protocol.
  •  Assist with inventory controls, cleanliness, and safety of ROCKSTOP.
  •  Answer questions about the property, upcoming events, contacts, and provide directions as needed.
  •  Maintain work area in an orderly, clean, neat manner.
  •  Follow internal procedures for safety concerns, suspicious persons, or disruptive guests.
  •  Meets Hard Rock standard for grooming, uniform or attire.
  •  Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
  •  Use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, coffee brewers, soda fountains, refrigerators, ice cream machines, frozen drink machines.
  •  Abide by all applicable Hard Rock policies and procedures.
  •  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The skills and abilities necessary for effective performance within this position are typically acquired through a high school diploma or work equivalent experience in a fast paced environment.

 

 

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Procedures and methods to operate various computer program.
  • Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
  • Remain calm in a fast-paced, outdoor atmosphere.
  • Distinguish between different denominations of currency and make correct change.
  • Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
