Under the direction of the Hotel Accounting Manager, the incumbent will provide direct supervision of the Hotel Accounting Department and staff.


  • Assist in hiring, training, motivating, evaluating and supervising staff in order to ensure that employee receives adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established department objectives.
  • Assist with the daily auditing, processing and recording of revenue and expenses for rooms, food & beverage and retail. Ensures all work is coordinated properly with subordinates and completed on a timely basis.
  • Assures compliance to established departmental procedures and policies.
  • Prepares daily journals and worksheets to record information to be used for monthly entries posted to general ledger.
  • Solves problems which arise in the daily paperwork by dealing directly with the supervisory personnel in the various departments.
  • Schedules work assignments to Hotel Accounting Representatives on a weekly basis.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


High School Diploma or GED is required. Minimum of three (3) years experience in Hotel Accounting is required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.  Must currently hold or be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee Registration license through the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement.
