Under the direction of the Casino Accounting Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for reviewing, reconciling and auditing daily shift paperwork.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the auditing of daily work from the casino floor in compliance with the N.J.A.C 13:69D regulations.
Prepares statistical reports required by regulation and for internal use.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Casino Accounting Supervisor.
Responsible for performing the following audits:
Master Gaming Report (MGR)
Main Bank, Check Bank, Chip Bank
SDS Accounting
ePromo promotional wagering
Recording meter readings from the slot machines that are audited weekly
W2G’s/1042S forms and calculating taxes withheld payouts semi-weekly for the IRS
Bill Changer reporting to Division of Gaming Enforcement
TRM audit
Learns new audits as new games or procedures are introduced to the casino
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Prior experience in casino accounting or auditing preferred.
Must currently hold or be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee Registration license through the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement
Excellent communication and organizational skills a must.
Knowledge of personal computers and computer systems including SDS preferred.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
