Overview

Under the direction of the Distribution Supervisor/Manager will ensure that the daily mail distribution, post office pick up, sorting of mail, and postage for out bound mail is performed daily.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up of incoming mail and delivery of outgoing mail to and from post office daily.
  • Tracking of UPS/Fed EX packaging with required signatures
  • Ensures compliance with all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Promotes positive guest and team member relations at all times.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required with one (1) year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Clean valid NJ Driver’s License.

 

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work flexible schedules, weekends and holidays if required.
  • Must be able to follow safety rules and procedures as indicated by distribution management.
  • Must possess knowledge of MS Office software such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence to outlets, Purchasing and Warehouse Management.
  • Knowledge of Pitney Bowes Mail Machine.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
