Overview

Under the direction of the Housekeeping Director, the incumbent serves as a liaison between all Hard Rock Atlantic City linen using department, including Food & Beverage, Spa and Housekeeping, and laundry/linen vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Hold vendors accountable for missing and /or damaged laundry/linen, products and services.
  • Conduct visits to laundry plants on behalf of Hard Rock Atlantic City.
  • Provides hotel forecasts to laundry plant managers.
  • Verify manifest & counts returned.
  • Coordinates and recommends pick up and delivery times and locations with vendors.
  • Conduct budgeting, forecasting and inventory control.
  • Hold vendors accountable for products and services
  • Quality control of product including unclean or damaged returned products.
  • Provide weekly variance reports.
  • Oversees both NT & ST loading docks relative to linen deliveries and organization of linen-related facilities at both dock locations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
  • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values.
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of laundry/linen/hospitality experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.
