Overview

The Count Team clerk is primarily responsible for the collection and processing of large volumes of currency from Tables Games, Slot Machines and Poker for reporting purposes. The Count Team clerk provides documentation of counts fulfilling all Gaming and Company regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for proper closing, locking, and shutting of all machines dropped that day. Requires constant bending, twisting, and lifting.
  • Operate electrically powered tow cart used to transport full validator cash can carts to and from the Count room.
  • Unlocks/opens slot machine doors and bill validator doors to access cans to be collected.
  • Preforming cleaning duties such as, but not limited to, sweeping, using the vacuum and using the sonic cleaner to wash cash cans.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information.
  • Records cash drop.
  • Assists with all Count Room Department activities as assigned.
  • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
  • Promote positive public/team member relations at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Must be able to pass (non-gaming) Suspicious Activity reporting and Cyber Security testing to remain in Compliance.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED as well as money-handling skills or a combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid New Jersey Casino Service Registration.
