Overview

Protects assets and maintains the integrity of the company using CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) and floor observations. Directly responsible for the actions and job assignments of team members on an assigned shift. Provides training, supervises, evaluates and leads team members.

Responsibilities

  • Creates the work schedule for assigned shift and delegates assignments as needed.
  • Operates all surveillance equipment with a high degree of skill, including but not limited to monitors, switchers, computers, controllers and cameras.
  • Provides CCTV and personal observations of all departments and applicable job functions to assure compliance with established laws, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Works in liaison with applicable department managers and state regulators with regards to confidential matters.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Works with a high degree of personal integrity and leadership.
  • Assists in interviewing, training and selecting new employees.
  • Provides for safety and security of the casino and property.
  • Recommends disciplinary action and/or disciplines employees.
  • Plans, supervises and monitors work.
  • Monitors legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws.
  • Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years casino surveillance experience is required.
  • Must have a high degree of working knowledge of all casino operations.
  • Must possess excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, leadership and organizational skills.
  • Must have demonstrated ability and working knowledge of cheating detection methods.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Must be willing to work unscheduled shifts on short notice.
  • Must have basic computer operational skills.

Must currently hold or have the ability to obtain a Key License issued by the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement.
