Under the direction of the Lead Locksmith, the incumbent responsible for maintaining the master key system and locking mechanisms according to accepted locksmith standards.

Pay rate $22.57 an hour
Responsibilities
Installs, repairs, rebuilds and services mechanical, electrical or computerized locking devices.
Disassembles locks and repairs or replaces worn tumblers, springs and other parts.
Performs required and preventive maintenance on card "swipe" locks.
Inserts new or repaired tumblers into lock to change combination.
Cuts new or duplicate keys and key cards; generates master for key cards.
Moves lockpick in cylinder to open door locks without keys; opens safe locks by drilling.
Maintains records and logs of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s locks and corresponding keys for key control system.
Monitors and maintains inventory of cut keys, blanks and locks; generates requisitions for replenishment as necessary.
Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or technical certificate required as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related experience and 1 year of casino experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Must possess or be able to obtain a New Jersey Casino Service Registration.
