  • Overview

    We are one of the most globally recognized companies specializing in the casino, hospitality and restaurant industries.  We have recently created a Sports Wagering division to leverage our brand reach and considerable resources to extend our presence.   We are looking for a well-rounded individual with experience in the sports wagering/casino industry that isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty to serve as one of our dedicated Sportsbook Supervisors.  This role will report to the Retail Sportsbook Director and be responsible for working within a team to exceed customer satisfaction expectations and enhancing the player experience by providing professional, accurate and timely assistance for all matters related to the player’s interaction with the Sportsbook and its related products. 

    Responsibilities

    • Record wager requests from patrons and input them into the wagering system
    • Manage a cash drawer for taking wagers and making payouts and reconcile this drawer
    • Commit to detecting and advising customers at risk of potential responsible gaming issues
    • Effectively communicate T’s & C’s to customers regarding wagering rules and policy’s
    • Promote and educate patrons on the availability of all sports related products and wager types
    • Supervise a team of Sportsbook Agents
    • Reconciling cash drawers for Agents at the end of their shift
    • Enforcing and interpreting internal controls and standard operating procedures
    • Ensuring the retail Sportsbook operation remains compliant with regulations at all times
    • Approving large wagers and paying out large wins

    Qualifications

    • Must be available to worked varied schedules.  Shifts will be at varying hours of the day and night, 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year
    • Must hold or be able to obtain a Casino Key Employee License from the NJ DGE.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Competent working knowledge of MS Office applications
    • Advanced knowledge of online and/or brick and mortar casino and sports book operations not a requirement, but a plus!
