  • Overview

    Servers ensure that guest have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. Servers work in the front of the business taking orders, serving drinks, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner.

    Responsibilities

    • Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest’s name when possible
    • Take guest beverage order in a timely manner and explain the food selections and offerings
    • Maintain complete knowledge of the offering on the buffet daily
    • Anticipate guests service needs
    • Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions
    • Speak to guests’ and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language
    • Set-up / Replenish side station with polished china, napkins, glassware and silverware throughout the shift
    • Maintain proper table maintenance throughout the guest dining experience ensuring dirty plates, glassware and utensils are cleared consistently
    • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings and organize seating for groups with special needs with minimal amount of disturbance to other guests
    • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift
    • Notify management of maintenance repair issues
    • Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell
    • Complete open and closing side duties during the shift
    • Complete any additional reasonable requests by management
