Overview

Lead Salon team members to ensure a positive Salon experience resulting in repeat/increased visits and increased purchase of products and services. 

Responsibilities

  • May include but are not limited to:

    • Maintain all licenses required for the position and ensure all associates maintain required licenses/certifications.
    • Role model/promote discretion and confidentiality regarding guest information and shared conversations.
    • Provide requested salon services to guests
    • Oversee daily work assignments, performance and guest interaction of Salon employees.
    • Ensure appropriate staffing to ensure guest satisfaction, Salon safety and cleanliness.
    • Investigate and resolve guest situations to best satisfy the guest and maintain good business practices.
    • Prepare and process daily reports; point out trends or other points of significance to department management.
    • Conduct and maintain inventory, and set up retail displays that attract guest attention and result in increased sales.
    • Develop new ideas to promote additional revenue generation.
    • Must maintain a clean, safe, hazard free work environment.
    • Must follow all safety guidelines and procedures outlined within company standards.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid NJ cosmetology and hairstyling license and have three years of experience as a licensed
    cosmetologist-hairstylist. 
  • Minimum of 2 -year experience in a luxury spa setting is required
  • Must have strong coping and communication skills capable of professional decision making and effective problem solving while attending to our guests and fellow employees
  • Ability to respond to guests needs while always maintaining a professional scope of practice
  • A positive and energetic personality with a desire to succeed in the spa industry
  • Must possess exceptional guest service skills
  • Must be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities
